I came across a Vet bill today and it reminded me how much my cat "Purrfect" has grown and basically "beat the odds!" We took a walk around the Lake today and spotted this very adoring "momma" Goose sitting on her nest of eggs. She was so protective as was "papa" who was not far away either. What a beautiful day it was today and how blessed we were to see these gorgeous gifts of nature! This last photo is a postcard of "The Round Barn" prior to its significant restoration. "The Round Barn" is located along Historical Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. One day last week we had the shutters opened in the living room to let the sun shine in and we spotted Sox and Laya playing with their shadows! Anyone have any clues what these are? They look like mushrooms to me, however, they go all the way up and down the tree. Some are brilliantly white while others are a darker brown. Today we went to a wonderful Nature Park in the center of Oklahoma City... It is 14o acres and well over 3 miles of glorious wildlife and nature right in the middle of the City. Scott's Santa Fe Bird has her baby or possibly babies today. Scott has only seen one baby so far which was a very wet baby bird! I was saddened to hear that "the worlds oldest blogger" died at 108 years old. Her name was Olive and she lived in Australia. This evening my fiancee and my "almost" mother-in-law and I were eating at a well-known cafeteria for dinner. The cafeteria will carry your tray to your table for you if you need them to, so I asked to have mine carried. The Round Barn can be found on Historic Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. It is a wonderful historic site that has been renovated and well preserved throughout the years. Inside the all wood barn on the upper floor you can make a noise and it will echo throughout the entire barn.I can only imagine the time and effort that went into constructing this wonderful barn!
